Teaching is a profession that is challenging, exciting and rewarding. It provides opportunities to help others achieve their goals.  To be able to do that, you need to possess qualities and skills which you can develop. However, you may be surprised to know that you have in you such qualities and skills; it's just that they need to be honed more.

Bachelor of Physical Education:

As a teaching profession, PE is a seamless activity of designing and delivering learning activities, providing quality instruction, managing the classroom and assessing student learning, modeling and mentoring. As a curricular subject, PE is aimed at physical literacy, which serves as the foundation for confident, enjoyable and sustained participation in a wide range of physical activities.

PE also aims to optimize health through learning experiences aimed at the formation of physical activity and healthy eating habits, as well as dispositions. These learning experiences likewise extend beyond the classroom. BPEd graduates may become a Physical Education Teacher in Basic Education, Dance and Sports Club Moderator School-based, Sports Program and Events Moderator/Coordinator.

Bachelor of Special Needs Education (Generalist)

This program specializes in special needs education and prepares teachers who will instruct and manage students with additional needs in inclusive and segregated educational settings. Its graduates will be equipped to teach the basic education curriculum and alternate curricula depending on the needs of the students. Those who will teach in the elementary level will be trained across different subject areas.

Those who will teach in the secondary level will provide educational support to students with additional needs in inclusive classrooms or provide educational services to students who may be enrolled in special education centers. Graduates of this program should be able to practice the teaching profession in the field of Special Needs Education and may be employed in special education centers/clinics as special education teachers, therapists, or clinicians. They can work in regular schools that practice inclusion as learning support staff and as special education teachers and in center-/ home-/community-based educational settings as intervention specialists, job/behavior coaches and tutors.

Bachelor of Elementary Education

The BEEd is designed to prepare individuals intending to teach in the elementary level. This program aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for elementary education. Graduates of BEEd should be able to practice the teaching profession in the elementary level.

Bachelor of Secondary Education (Major in English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science)

The BSEd is designed to equip learners with adequate and relevant competencies to teach in their chosen area of specialization/major in the secondary level. After successful completion of all academic requirements for the degree, graduates of BSEd should be able to practice the teaching profession specifically in the Secondary Level and also in any of the basic education sector.

Students who are admitted in the College of Education are classified as  (a) regular student   or (b) student placed on academic probation (or probationary student )  based on the following criteria:

RETENTION POLICY
for regular student and student on academic probation:

Continuance to be a Regular Student: 

Students who are officially enrolled in a semester, must have final grades of 80% (or its equivalent) or better in all the subjects - General Education, Professional Education, Content and Field of Specialization subjects, where he/she had enrolled in and a GPA of  80% (or its equivalent) or better to maintain status as regular student.

Although students have been admitted to the College of Education, their success and dispositions in class work will be closely and continuously monitored.  Students who do not qualify under the retention policy for regular students may be retained in the College on academic probation basing on the following criteria set:
