    Three Registered Guidance Counselors for NDU

    Dr. Margie D. Fiesta, the university’s psychometrist, is now Notre Dame University's third Registered Guidance Counselor having been qualified and recently passed the “Grandfather Clause” provision of the R.A 9258 known as the Guidance & Counseling Act of 2004.

    This provision allows practicing counselors, psychometrists and other guidance personnel to register at the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) without taking the licensure examination given to guidance counselors.

    Prof. Cecilia N. Pareñas is the first licensed guidance counselor in Maguindanao & Cotabato City. And the other registered guidance counselor is the ETD guidance counselor, Prof. Annerill R. Lorio. They were qualified to the said provision in 2008 and 2009 respectively.
